ZONING AMENDMENT TO PROHIBIT THE SELLING, DISPENSING, OR CULTIVATION OF MARIJUANA (BYLAW NO. 821, 2017)
Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 821, 2017 The
District of Taylor
is proposing an amendment to Zoning Bylaw 783, 2014 to remove the production of medical marijuana as a Permitted Use from Light and Heavy Industrial zones (I-1 and -2), and make an addition to the Prohibited Uses Section 4.31 to prohibit the selling, dispensing, or cultivation of marijuana in all zones.
How Do I Get More Information? The public hearing will be held on Monday, January 22 at 5:00 PM in Council Chambers at the District Office, 10007 - 100 A Street. This public hearing will allow the public an opportunity to make presentations to Council or to present written submissions in regards to the proposed Zoning Bylaw Amendment. Written submissions must be made on or before Thursday, January 18 at 4:30 PM to be included in the agenda.
A copy of the proposed Zoning Bylaw Amendment and related documents may be inspected at the District Office, 10007 -100 A Street, Taylor, BC from December 18, 2017 to January 22, 2018 during office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
